Summer of catching dragonflies: a childish summer memory

It was a sunny summer afternoon and the robins were chirping happily in the treetops. I grabbed a net for catching dragonflies and couldn't wait to run out of the hut to a wide meadow.

On the grass, dragonflies came and went as if they were green elves. They fluttered lightly, their green wings shining marvelously in the sunlight. I quietly approached a dragonfly with my eyes fixed on it and slowly stretched out my net.

At that moment, it was as if the world had stopped spinning. I held my breath and waited nervously. Suddenly, a small hand tapped my shoulder, I was startled and turned around to see that it was my sister.

"Brother, come and help me catch the dragonfly!" My sister shouted excitedly. I smiled, put down the net for catching dragonflies, held my sister's little hand, and together we searched for that beautiful green elf.

We cheerfully chased through the grass, trying again and again. Although we only caught a few dragonflies each time, the joy and happiness filled our hearts.

As the sun set, the sky became colorful. We reluctantly left the meadow and returned home with a full harvest.

That net for catching dragonflies has accompanied us through countless wonderful summer days. It witnessed the happiness of our childhood and made us know how to cherish it.

Nowadays, we have long grown up, but those days of catching dragonflies are still deeply imprinted in our memories. Whenever summer comes, we always think of that wonderful time, and at that moment, we seem to be back to that carefree age.
