WALKING IN THE CLOUDS is a biographical drama film produced by TriStar Pictures, imported by China Film Group Corporation, co-distributed by China Film Corporation and Huaxia Film Distribution, directed by Robert Zemeckis, and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Charlotte Lebbon, and Ben Kingsley in the lead roles.

The movie is based on the personal autobiography of Philip Pate. It tells the story of acrobat Philip Pate, who in 1974, built a steel cable between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and successfully traversed the experience of the two towers.

The film was released on September 30, 2015 in a small theatrical release in the United States, and was officially released in the United States on October 9 in 2D, 3D and IMAX3D formats. It was also released in mainland China on January 22, 2016 in 3D and Chinese giant screen 3D formats.
